Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the suspension of most international events and exchanges. We are pleased to partner with the international online music competition "Music@e-Contest,"; offering participants of the Inter-School Music Competition an opportunity to easily take part in an international-level event, learn from others, and broaden their horizons.

Participation is entirely voluntary for all individuals and teams competing in the Inter-School Music Competition; interested participants simply need to indicate their consent to join Music@e-Contest on the registration form or via the online registration system.

Participation in the first stage of Music@e-Contest is free of charge; details regarding registration fees for subsequent rounds (finals and grand finals) can be found on the official Music@e-Contest website. Participants may register independently or have our Association handle the first-stage registration on their behalf. If participants choose to have our Association assist with registration, we will arrange for the recording of their performance at the competition venue and forward the video file to the Music@e-Contest organizers.

When assisting with registration, our Association will submit the participant's full English name, age, email address, and performance video; participants are advised to carefully review the rules and regulations on the website before deciding to join. Our Association’s role is limited to assisting with the initial registration and file submission; all arrangements following registration should be handled directly with Music@e-Contest. Please refer to the competition's official website for further details.

Music@e-Contest 國際網上音樂比賽簡介

***Attention all contestants: We are frequently notified by the Music@e-Contest organizers about instances where participants—having previously agreed to let us handle their registration—later claim they never applied or request cancellation upon receiving the contest notification. These situations often arise because participants forgot they had signed up or failed to correct an initial selection error immediately, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and awkwardness. We therefore urge you to carefully consider your decision before agreeing to have us assist with your Music@e-Contest registration. Once you have chosen to register, please keep in mind that you have committed to participating, so as to avoid such issues in the future.

***For contestants in the Inter-School Music Competition’s "Live Category" who chose to have us assist with their Music@e-Contest registration: Please note that while we recorded your performances at the competition venue, venue regulations strictly prohibit the public display or broadcasting of these videos, restricting their use to internal records only. Consequently, we have requested that the organizers not make the footage public, and the recordings will not be released to the contestants. This policy does not apply to contestants in the "Video Submission Category."
