Adverse Weather Arrangement for Competitions
All arrangements and guidelines are based on announcements by the Education Bureau.
Before the Competition Begins

Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning | If the signal/warning is announced or remains in effect at the following times, competitions will be postponed: 1. 6:45 a.m. – All competitions for the day will be postponed. 2. 11:00 a.m. – All competitions scheduled after 1:00 p.m. on the same day will be postponed. |
Typhoon Signal No. 3 / Amber Rainstorm / Red Rainstorm Warning | Competitions will proceed as scheduled. Participants may decide whether to attend the competition at their own discretion and are responsible for their personal safety. |
Education Bureau announces class suspension for all primary/secondary schools due to adverse weather | If the suspension notice is issued or announced at the following times, competitions will be postponed: 1. 6:45 a.m. – All competitions for the day will be postponed. 2. 11:00 a.m. – All competitions scheduled after 1:00 p.m. on the same day will be postponed. |
During the Competition

Note 1: All participants who have already performed will receive comments and scores. The official time of competition suspension will be based on the moment when the Association informs the event assistant or venue personnel.
